S.0.935(E)-The Central Pollution Control Board in exercise of its powers conferred under Section 16(2)(h) of the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution)Act, 1981 (14 of 1981) hereby notify the Ambient Air Quality Standard for Ammonia (NH3) with immediate effect, as under:
AMBIENT AIR QUALITY STANDARD FOR AMMONIA
Daily Average (Sample duration 24 hrs.) | 0.4 µg/m³ (400 µg/m³) |
Annual average of 104 samples ( 2 samples drawn every week |
